Flood Insurance
Flood insurance is not included in a basic homeowner's policy, however, according to the National Flood Insurance Program, your home has a 26% percent chance of falling prey to flood damage during the course of a 30-year mortgage. Residents of Naples and Fort Myers understand that flooding is a constant threat. Even homes that are not in designated flood zones or aren't in close proximity to water are always in the possible path of tropical storms and hurricanes that can have unpredictable consequences. At Harbour Insurance, it is our goal to make sure that Collier County residents are fully protected from any kind of financial loss. We don't want to find you cheap policies and move on to the next customer, like the mass-market insurance companies do. We are independent insurance brokers who want to build a lasting relationship with our clients through detailed and trustworthy insurance services. We take the time to fully assess the unique needs of your home to determine the right amount of flood insurance coverage for you, and then send your flood insurance needs to all of our trusted carriers, which include many of the industry's most reputable names. We'll even examine existing policies and see where your home could be at risk.
Flood insurance comes in two forms

- Excess Flood Insurance: This type of insurance is insured and backed by private insurers. It covers any excess above your purchase.
